Odd problem with sound

I installed alsa and pulseaudio. I have my laptop's internal speakers working, but when I plug in my headphones, the sound does not come out of my headphones. I checked alsamixer and pavucontrol that my headphones are not muted and I have Windows + Arch set up and the headphone port works in Windows 7. I also made sure my user is in the group audio.

Here is $ aplay -l

$lsmod | grep '^snd' | column -t

$ ls -l /dev/snd

Re: Odd problem with sound

Sorry if it may be a noob question, but how do you install pygtk2 or python-gtk packages? I tried #sudo pacman -S python and #sudo pacman -S pygtk and installed them, but the python run.py script gives me print "Please, install pygtk2 or python-gtk package" SyntaxError: invalid syntax

I tried looking up  #sudo pacman -S pygtk2 or #sudo pacman -S python-gtk but I get error" target not found"
