After syslinux update no boot

Hello,

I just updated syslinux to 4.05-5 and now my system won't load syslinux at all. It just stucks after the bios.
I've the testing repo enabled and use the 3.5 kernel.
I'm now on a live session, I hope it's not too difficult to fix.

I appreciate any answer...

Thanks.

Re: After syslinux update no boot

Syslinux 4.05-5 is not in the standard repos, it's in testing.  You should Report your post and ask a mod to move this thread to the testing repo.

OTOH, if that was a typo and you meant 4.05-4, then maybe you got hit by the altmbr bug (see the note).

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Edit: The package has been removed from the [testing] repo.
