32 bit bios live install wont boot

so ive dd'ed the 32-bit iso to a usb i restart my computer go into the bios and its labled "removable device" so i set the priority to "removable device" and save and exit the bios and it doesnt both with the usb and just boots the harddrive.

and yes actually it has worked before cause i am reinstalling and doing this on the archlinux that i want to reinstall.

Stupid question.... Have you md5sum'd the iso?

yes actually and it works for booting from a 64-bit bios which is my desktop.

figured it out... i dont have a efi bios.
