KDE or Gnome in Virtualbox = sporadic mouse activity

Virtualbox 4.1.18
Arch installed as Guest
Tried with both KDE and Gnome

Mouse is acting sporadic. In Gnome, just moving the mouse triggers the hot corner. In KDE, any click & drag activity leads to random results like window resizing or randomly moving the windows.

Any thoughts?
