ren'py fails to start

Hello,

Ren'Py visual novel creator fails to start for both AUR package and official release with the following error:

~/renpy-6.10.2/lib/python: line 23: ~/renpy-6.10.2/lib/linux-x86/python.real: Does not exist file or folder
~/renpy-6.10.2/lib/python: line 23: ~/renpy-6.10.2/lib/linux-iliad/python.real: Does not exist file or folder
Could not find a python that runs on your platform. Sorry.

even thought the files are there. I saw in google cache someone else having same issue, but there were no solution shown in the cache and now it's not accesible anymore.

Does anyone know why this' hapenning? Any tip or suggestion?

Yes, python 2.6.5-2 and python-pygame 1.9.1-2.

Ren'Py for linux includes a 32-bit version of python, and 32-bit version of the supporting libraries.

I'll be honest, I haven't gotten Ren'Py to work nicely as a native app on Arch (yet). However, I've found that the Windows version of it works pretty well under WINE...
