[SOLVED] xvidcap

is xvidcap no longer in repos?  i tried to install after running sudo pacman -Syu

used pacman -S xvidcap

came back with

~]$ sudo pacman -S xvidcap
error: target not found: xvidcap

is it under a different name?

It is in the AUR.  If it used to be community, perhaps it had to be moved.  There are various reasons this could happen.

yea thnx i didnt realize at first glance that i couldnt pacman stuff from AUR until i built it so today has given me plenty of practic

Also I would recommend either ffmpeg or glc for recording. They are better in my opinion. Though needs a little work.
