[solved]Possible clarification needed in wiki for postgresql

The wiki has a section with this content:

Configure the PGROOT

Edit the /etc/conf.d/postgresql (if you don't know what value to put just uncomment the line)

The problem is that there is (apparently) not a line that can be uncommented. I am on postgresql 9.1.4

I am just getting my feet wet w/postgresql so I am not sure about this, but wanted to bring it up in case the wiki should be updated.

Thanks
Steve.

You must have already editted the file, or something went wrong during the install.  I just installed it and have this in that file

##
## Parameters to be passed to postgresql
##
## Default data directory location
#PGROOT="/var/lib/postgres"
## Passed to initdb if necessary
INITOPTS="--locale en_US.UTF-8"
## Default log file location
#PGLOG="/var/log/postgresql.log"
## Additional options to pass via pg_ctl's '-o' option
#PGOPTS=""

Trilby, you are right.

I accidentally edited /etc/rc.d/postgresql
not
/etc/conf.d/postgresql

Thanks and sorry for the false alarm.
Steve.
