[request] gwoffice

Google Web Office - GWoffice - brings your google drive to your dektop. It offers you a nice interface to its editing abilities and also gives you basic syncing for offline use.
Some features:
- HUD support for any keyboard bound command
- theming according to the current Gtk+ theme
- shortcuts for quickly creating documents
- drop to upload (and edit, if you enable it..)

https://launchpad.net/gwoffice

Would really like a package for this, i have been trying my self following the instructions on http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~tombeckman … d:/INSTALL without much success.

if it's to any help i had to change line 123 in eidete.vala:
tabs = new Granite.Widgets.StaticNotebook (false);
to:
tabs = new Granite.Widgets.StaticNotebook ();

Trying to add -lX11 to LDFLAGS but i still can't get past "undefined reference to symbol 'XOpenDisplay'"

Re: [request] gwoffice

I tried taking a look, but I was spending a while on just getting the dependencies and setting up build directories.  If you make a PKGBUILD for what you've done so far, I'll try it out and see if I can help with the compilation error.

Re: [request] gwoffice

I've made a pkgbuild for it: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=62171

Let me know how it works.

Re: [request] gwoffice

Thank you! I will try this later tonight!
Normally I have my desktop up and running and I can logon with SSH, however, today not... and it doesn't seem to listen to WOL commands :-)

Re: [request] gwoffice

It's gwoffice under /opt/extras.ubuntu.com/gwoffice/bin/

I've added a symlink to /usr/bin in the latest version.

Editing works, downloading my files doesn't.

Re: [request] gwoffice

I recall my previous message. I removed everything and retried it.
Seems to work perfectly now!
