I'm trying to build Cyanogen Mod for my Nook Color from source. Their wiki is Ubuntu based; found here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Barnes … 28Linux%29
It lists specific packages that are needed to build. The ArchWiki has an entry describing how to build Android. It's here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/An … ng_Android
There appears to be an Arch equivalent to each package. The exception being "libesd0-dev". Since my build is failing, the dependencies seems to be a logical place to start. Is there an equivalent package in Arch Linux? I don't see one, so maybe it's included with something else?

I think this should solve your problem, at least partially:

ESD should not be required for CM, its years and years out of date.
Please search around Off-Topic, a poster posted up a thread with tips on compiling Android on Arch. I've asked him to wiki-fy it but that hasn't been done yet.

Thanks. I installed esound as well as everything in this thread:

Unfortunately, my build still fails, but my initial question was answered.

This wiki entry can be fairly helpful as well. I have successfully build AOSP using it as a guide, haven't tried a CM build though.
