Problems with proftpd and transmissiond

I have transmission-daemon starting from rc.conf and after last update transmissiond starts with error regarding settings.json whitelist.However,after restarting daemon everything works just fine.
Also proftpd is not starting at all,untill I create /var/run/proftpd directory.
As a temporary solution I start transmissiond,create directory and start proftpd from rc.local.
I am not using netcfg if matters.
Any help will do,thanks in advance.
