Problem with Accents on Directories

Hi!
I never had this problem and it's really extrange..

I have in my rc.conf :

LOCALE = "es_mx.UTF-8"
LC_ALL= "es_mx.UTF-8"

and I have run  locale-gen

but when I try to save an image from firefox to ~/Imágenes I get an unknown error (caused by the accent).

This is something that never happended to me 

Audacious is also getting error when I try to open ~/Música

How can I solve it?

Hi / Hola.

Try with big letters "es_MX.UTF-8" / Prueba con mayúsculas "es_MX.UTF-8"

Thanks! that worked well !! Also I have chosen "Spanish" and "México" on Region and Language Settings
