Re: [Solved]'runit' instead of systemd

Yes, I have installed full package, with runit-run (runit running as PID1)
I still have not yet the services. Daemons shown are from rc.conf.
Once I set up services, can I remove the rc.conf and other initscripts completely?
Will 'runit' take care of all other things, without any need for initscripts?

Re: [Solved]'runit' instead of systemd

it really is beautiful isnt it smile , its not often i can call a piece of code that ( i think blender was last piece of code i called beautiful ). The whole systemd contraversy turned me on to runit, so suppose i have systemd to thank for it. Now if someone could combine lxsession (and update it while at it) with runit THEN we are on to a world beater smile
