hpoj

Is there an Arch Linux package for hpoj?  I searched everywhere I can think of.

Re: hpoj

Well, I just installed it by hand.  Installed to /usr/local and manually set links and stuff.  Works great.  Just not managed by pacman.

Hi!
Is there a particular pacman configuration where to find hpoj, because after a standard installation of 0.6 Widget, pacman -S hpoj doesn't work.

Re: hpoj

I also had this problem with HPOJ 0.91. However HPOJ 0.90 compiled cleanly and I installed it just fine.  smile

However I still have a problem. Whenever I need to print, I have to do a 'ptal-init start' before using my printer.

I have already added this command to /etc/rc.d/cups and have added cups to DAEMONS in /etc/rc.conf, but still no luck.

I wonder whether it is a hot plug issue. I run kernel 2.6.4 from ARCH. I have a HP PSC 2110 all-in-one (Scanner/Copier/Printer) (USB).

Can anyone help me resolve this problem?

Re: hpoj

Never mind - I just had to add hotplug to the DAEMON entries in /etc/rc.conf and everything works GREAT!!!! big_smile
