Bluetooth pairing failed authentication

Hi there,

This is my first post, so I hope I've put it in the right place.

I'm having trouble getting bluez to pair my bluetooth speaker. When using bluez-simple-agent, I get:

[root:bluetooth]# bluez-simple-agent hci0 00:02:02:2B:04:72
Creating device failed: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationFailed: Authentication Failed

But there is no prompt for a passcode. When I pair my mouse in the same way, it prompts for a passcode and works fine.

I don't have any Desktop Environment installed, so I'm hoping to get this working just using the command line. I'm using bluez 4.99-1. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
