Can genfstab run after "arch-chroot /mnt"?

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … stallation

I would like to combine these two entries:

"1.6 Install the base system"
"1.8 Chroot into the system"

...into a single "Install the base system and chroot into it", but 1.7 is in the way ("Generate an fstab"). I think that the /etc/fstab file should be in the next section, in "1.9 Configure the system".

What do you think?

PS: I couldn't decide whether this should go in the "Forum & Wiki discussion" section or here. I guess it has more to do with the install process so I'm posting it here.

I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

I think the best place to discuss it is the talk page of Begginer's Guide.

Re: Can genfstab run after "arch-chroot /mnt"?

Here's a recent victim: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=148463

This is because there's just too little information on chrooting, and it's easy to miss. Fstab is a configuration file. It should be in the next section.

Edit: There... I tried editing it a bit. I hope it's easier to spot now.
