[solved] Problems with pacman's gpg system

I get

gpg:Fatal: /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/trustdb.gpg: invalid trustdb

in response to

pacman-key --init

Any ideas?

edit: deleting trustdb.gpg allows it to work
