[SORTED ] Wireless Connection Issue

Hi All

For the past couple of weeks now, ive been having problems with my wireless connection, every so often the connection drops. I dont know what has changed with updates of late, but something is causing this dropped connection. My desktop (also wireless) has no problems, but my laptop does. I am using wicd by the way.

Any suggestions ?

Do you by any chance hve atheros wifi card?

I think you need to supply more information to recieve any help. No one wants to start guessing about the specifics of your situation... at least I don't, hadrons123 might be willing.

Sorted, laptop got thrown out the window and i'll go by another tomorrow :-)

If possible, do your best to try and get an Intel card. Intel makes all their drivers open source, so they are extremely well supported.
