gnome: how to view .svg files

hello.

When I switch themes in gnome I get an error that gnome couldn't open a .svg file. I have libpng, libjpg, are there others I need for gnome to open the .svg files?

Geert.

You'll need librsvg. It handles your SVG images and such.

Re: gnome: how to view .svg files

Maybe try recompiling gtk2 from ABS? Not sure. If that doesn't work... I know it's something close to the GTK+2 library.

Can you copy-paste the exact error your getting? Maybe it'll jog a memory. (If it's a GTK error, I've probably seen it... Oh the horrible things I do to my installs... wink )
