[solved]Upgrade to coreutils 8.18-1/util-linux 2.22-1 password problem

Hello,

before this upgrade this worked without being asked for a password:

/bin/su mm -l -c '/bin/bash --login -c startx'

After upgrading to coreutils 8.18-1 / util-linux 2.22-1 from testing 'su' asks for the password for user "mm". Is it a bug or what should be changed to keep it working in my scripts ?

Thanks in advance.

Check the change to PAM files.

You probably want to un-comment the two "pam_wheel" lines.

util-linux 2.22 doesn't include /etc/pam.d/su. It's a packaging bug.
