pianobar network error on get stations

I am running pianobar and each time it loads i get:

└──>>pianobar
Welcome to pianobar (2012.06.24)! Press ? for a list of commands.
(i) Login... Ok.
(i) Get stations... Network error: Invalid encoded data.

I've tried adding dev=default to /etc/libao.conf as suggested earlier, and i've also tried building it from source, neither works.  I also tried doing a pacman -Rnsc libao and then reinstalling everything it removed.

I'm running Arch x86_64 and have no proxy setup just direct internet.

Re: pianobar network error on get stations

Try building pianobar-git from the AUR. If it still doesn't work you may have to wait a few days for the devs to catch up with changes in Pandora's API.

I tried installing it from the AUR was well with the same error.  Does that error indicate its the Pandora API itself?

Re: pianobar network error on get stations

Fwiw I just ran pianobar this morning and it worked fine so it shouldnt be an API issue. You built pianobar-git , right? Not just piano bar? And rebuilt libpiano?

Yes, I currently have it installed over the AUR from pianobar-git.  It was compiled from source, so does that mean libpiano was rebuilt?

Sorry...wasn't at my computer when I said that. I thought I remembered it being a separate library package. Not sure what the issue is then. :-/
