[Solved for now] Sound pops on playback
I did what the wiki said to stop the sound from popping when playback starts, but it continues to pop. Anyone having similar problems--any advice would be helpful too.

It would be nice if you told us what you did and where you got the instructions from 
. But from what I'm presuming it's an alsa problem so did you follow the instructions from here ?

Yeah, I did; my bad, should've mentioned that. It's not really a problem at the moment, but that may be because I haven't actually tried to listen to much during the past few days. I'll update this post if that changes.
