Which X.org video driver to install for VIA EPIA-M910

I'm working on a VIA EPIA-M910 system. It has the VX900 Media System Processor Chipset and the integrated VIA Chrome9 HD DX9 3D/2D graphics. I *think* the correct driver should be openchrome.

I installed the xf86-video-openchrome driver, but the video is horrible. I've only been able to get very low resolutions to even display (anything 800x600 or more won't display anything on the monitor), and then those low resolutions aren't confined within the monitor boundaries. I had a similar problem with Lubuntu so this isn't specifically an Arch problem, apparently.

Any suggestions?

The other candidate driver to try would be unichrome.

Actually when I was checking the openchrome git repository just now, I saw that they have a KMS branch. Very interesting. I hope this results in a DRI2 VIA driver eventually.

Great things come in tar.xz packages.

try with different version of openchrome? e.g 0.2.906 or 0.3.0 etc
on my VN896 i using 0.2.905 because newer version simply doesnt work at all (blank screen)
