Dell M6600 + GNOME3 always suspends on lid close + monitor

Hi,

I run GNOME 3, and despite my best efforts with gnome-tweak-tool and in the terminal (gsettings) I can never get my machine to NOT suspend when I connect an external monitor and close the lid. I have never manually modified acpi settings etc - this is a pretty recent fresh install.

I set:

- gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power lid-close-ac-action blank
- Both "laptop lid close action" settings to "nothing" in gnome-tweak-tool

Any ideas?
