Great job, thanks to all the Devs for all your hard work.

And I have posted clear warnings about just that on this very board:
I know. I remembered that post when I read the "/dev/agpgart not found" error message in xorg's log file.

I have used Archlinux now for over a year and all of my upgrades including this really extensive upgrade have gone "flawlessly." Pacman is awsome! When it comes to having time to do things my disability/illness gets in the way with all of the intense pain sometimes. Not having to trace do fixes is really awsome and when I do have a question it is anwsered really quickly.
Thanks to all of you that are part of this totally awsome distro.
Thanks......

People are still missing it tho! I posted on the ML about it too now.

Actually, I asked on IRC. According to neotuli, gamin will stay in testing for a while as it doesn't work well with nfs. He also suggested that forcing the install (skip dependency check) might work if fam is installed. I'm gonna try that...
The package has since been fixed to use the correct dependency

Thanks. I 've noticed that.
BTW, I don't know if it's the newest kernel or xorg, but my FPS has doubled! Congrats to the dev team!

Would probably be the new kernel, if you're using Unichrome.

I'm using Intel i915 with xorg's driver.

Not sure then, but I'm guessing that the kernel module for that has been improved as well.

I'd like to give some feedback about the question whether or not all these parts of the community are easilty accessible by newbies.
I think it won't have to become a problem at all, al those places where you can get info about Arch, but I think all these places should be extensively described on the arch-homepage.
Anyway, for myself, I don't find Arch a mess at all. I used Debian before Arch and I never new were to look for the official fora and information cause the site is of Debian is total crap.
The Arch homepage is, in my opinion, nicely categorised, so I don't see any problems at the moment.
Keep up the good work!

Indeed. Debian was not only confusing to use, but finding documentation support is nearly impossible. Arch, on the other hand, is very easy to use and finding support is very easy. Great job!

I think the main site could use a bit of a change personally. I think news and info should take presidence over the package stuff that covers most of the main page. A description of what ArchLinux actually *is* would be good to. The main page shouldn't look like a package-lookup utility, it should be there to deal with the general public who've just heard about the distro and are coming to take a look.
Also, I think bumping the 'Documentation' section on the right side up a bit might be a good idea. It actually took me a long time to even find it, as I clicked on 'Wiki / Docs' when I was looking for documentation. Perhaps a layout like the 'User Forums' has.

I also noticed that new xorg + the new kernel-dri-drivers pushed the performance of my radeon m7 to new spheres.
Really great!!!

I was browsing distrowatch and there it was. Arch 0.7.1-pre.
Seems it is on other mirrors too. I hope this covers all the "updates" since I was getting enough of changing about everything . I wil install this and let everyone know if there are changes about the installer.
