Rhythmbox doesn't detect cds

Hi. I'm a bit of a newbie so maybe this should have gone in Newbie Corner but here goes.

I've noticed that rhythmbox doesn't detect audio cds that I can access fine through terminal or other applications. Starting  from terminal gives these warnings:

(rhythmbox:1472): libpeas-WARNING **: audiocd: /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/audiocd/libaudiocd.so: undefined symbol: discid_read

(rhythmbox:1472): libpeas-WARNING **: Error loading plugin 'audiocd'

(rhythmbox:1472): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Unable to grab media player keys: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.SettingsDaemon was not provided by any .service files

I suppose the last one probably isn't relevant. Can anyone advise? Thanks!
