Unable to login even after systemd convert

Okay some background: I bricked it a long time back by nuking my linker, I eventually got around to fixing that, but found in the news that I needed to reconfigure my system.

So I followed the instructions here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … tion_files

created /etc/hostname /etc/vconsole.conf /etc/locale.conf /etc/modules-load.d/vboxmodules.conf

I commented out everything in my rc.conf except my daemons line and USELVM="yes". (since I can't actually log into the system to start the lvm service, and I need lvm to boot right?)

The only thing I can think of also is /etc/crypttab which is just default commented out. I'm not sure if I need to put anything in there (it appears I haven't been using it before), or what I *should* put in there.

My volume setup has tmp, var, home, and root all as separate encrypted volumes. I have no trouble mounting or looking at them via liveusb, and I do actually get to the login screen, just it refuses to login.

I've checked my inittab, fstab, etc. and their permissions, and I can't for the life of me figure out what's going wrong.
