no mouse focus after first login after reboot

Hi!

After a reboot the first time I startup a X session (usually KDE, applies also to xfce) I can move the mouse around but can't focus/click anything. When I start the session a 2nd time it works. This also happens after a while on an active session. However I yet have no clue when. I have no idea how to even tackle this issue. Does anybody have (had) this problem or any advice how to actually investige?

thx

Re: no mouse focus after first login after reboot

This most likely has to do with Xorg, not a specific DE. I used to get these problems before some upstream changes solved them. Temporary workarounds were "SWCursor" in my driver options and changing the mode with "xrandr" and then changing it back.

Great things come in tar.xz packages.
