Re: September 2012 Screenshots

My really clean and simple desktop set-up. Most important things I do after a fresh install:

* DejaVu fonts: I l-o-v-e the DejaVu font family. I use it for everything: windows, terminal font, coding font, etc.
* freetype2-infinality: I can't live without. Without infinality it's impossible to get a pretty desktop without font anti-aliasing.
* cairo-dock: with big icons the buttons are easier to hit than task bars, IMO. I use auto-hide on the dock and SVG icons.

Trying out a new window manager (herbstluftwm); I'm pretty content with how it turned out after some configuring.

I normally try to avoid forcing all programs in a single tag like that, but since the purpose of the thread is to showcase configurations... yeah.

Various config files are located in this repo.

Interesting. Which settings do you use on Infinality?
I never used it on Arch before, but I remember using on Fedora, where it has many predefinied settings.

Re: September 2012 Screenshots

Fresh install, got olvwm to work with some command line vodoo.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Seen here minimized: xvfilemgr, disktool and clock. I like clock because it keeps the time while iconified, which is pretty spiffy.
