Kernel does not run on an installation on USB

I installed Arch on USB. When I boot from USB on my machine having Ubuntu, everything goes well on the GRUB step. I see the GRUB messages for

Loading Linux core repo kernel ...
Loading initial ramdisk ...

which shows that booting process is successful, but the problem should be at (next step)

initrd	/boot/initramfs-linux.img

Thus, nothing happens, and the system goes to the next boot device (HDD) to boot Ubuntu.

Of course, in between, I receive the error message of

clean dev/sda
init: Failed to create pty - disabling logging job

but I think these errors belong to Ubuntu. Unfortunately, my BIOS does not allow to disable boot from HDD to better explore that problem at transition between failed boot of Arch to boot from HDD.
