I don't even know where to start to fix this. I know so little about fonts and how to make them look nice it's embarrassing.

I've done a bunch of things in there, and most of my system fonts look excellent. It seems to be a font substitution thing for the default text font in web pages. Forum text, article text, it's all this really ugly plain font. I'm sure a substitution rule would solve my problem, but I don't know what to sub for what!

I installed infinality and that took care of it.

It's not the "right" way to fix it, but it took care of the problem.
