I see. Well, I've not done much testing, but it seems for me that the bug is gone, at least I can't reproduce it any more. Maybe it's also due to the hardware change.

The bug report has been closed (bug should be fixed in git). Since I can't do any testing due to the hardware change, I forward the call for testing to anybody who is still affected by the problem.

Any news guys? When is the updated going to be released?

I think, you should better ask this in the bug report. At least I don't see any fitting git push in the log: http://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-xkb-plugin/log/ You could also try to compile the git version of the plugin yourself (just remove the corresponding package before you install the self compiled one).

Too late. Hello KDE!

It seems like the problem has been solved on XFCE. I am no longer having it after doing a clean install.

Great news, I made an appropriate comment in the bug report.
