I am moving my base system from ubuntu to Archlinux because i like the amount of customization it provides.
After long searching, i have installed base system with systemd directly during the installation itself.
Now i am unable to find the service file for lightdm.
Please let us know how to configure lightdm.

lightdm isn't in the official repos, so presumably you installed it from the AUR. In that case, you should have a lightdm.service file at /usr/lib/systemd/system/lightdm.service

mine is in file:///etc/systemd/system/display-manager.service
[Unit]
Description=LightDM Display Manager
After=systemd-user-sessions.service
[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/sbin/lightdm
StandardOutput=syslog
[Install]
WantedBy=graphical.target
Alias=display-manager.service
try running the alias and see what happens...
systemctl enable display-manager.sevice

Thanks luvfree. Created a service file with your sample and now it is working fine.
