I just fixed my broken system, due to forcing glibc update.
After that, Arch couldn't detect my wifi chip, so I decided to reinstall the driver again.
$ lspci -vnn | grep 14e4
09:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5906M Fast Ethernet PCI Express [14e4:1713] (rev 02)
0c:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)
First, I grabbed the latest broadcom-wl. Then I edited the PKGBUILD, because I use linux-ck-corex kernel
pkgname=broadcom-wl
pkgver=5.100.82.112
pkgrel=6
pkgdesc='Broadcom 802.11abgn hybrid Linux networking device driver'
url='http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php'
arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
license=('custom')
depends=('linux-ck-corex')
makedepends=('linux-ck-corex-headers')
After that, I build the package and installed it.
When I ran "modprobe wl", the output was:
FATAL: Module wl not found.
I'm confused. This used to work.

Pardon me for my ignorance.
I just knew that the package broadcom-wl-ck-corex exists.
So I installed it, and "sudo modprobe wl" worked.
Then I rebooted, and during booting I think I saw a bunch of error messages while loading wl (it went so fast, anyway).
I ran iwconfig, and the result was:
$ iwconfig
eth0 no wireless extensions.lo no wireless extensions.

I have a hunch you have lost your kernel modules along the way. Look at the output of lsmod. There should be a couple dozen modules loaded when using a stock kernel. If there are none, or only a couple. then reinstall your kernel (core/linux). Reboot. See if things improved.

OK. I revert back to the stock kernel (3.5.4-1-ARCH).
Then I rebooted, and the same error still happended.
BTW, this is the output of lsmod (while running the stock kernel):

I could see the wl module there.

Somehow I guessed broadcom-wl was the culprit.
So I removed wl from MODULES (in /etc/rc.conf), rebooted, and I did these:
$ sudo rmmod wl
$ sudo modprobe b43
And also checked /etc/modprobe.d, just to make sure that wl is blacklisted (and not b43).
It worked.
