I see this feature mentioned in my preferences, and online, but I don't know how to start using it! It sounds like it plays my whole library on random, filtered by settings I can choose. I like the sounds of it, but I don't know how to use it once I pick my filters.
Anyone know?

At the bottom of the window where the playback buttons are click on the one that says normal and you should have some selections available in the drop down box, select autodj and away you go.
Hope this helps

Well thanks for the reply. When I try to use the autodj though, it just crashes :?

Unfortunately I have no programming experience so cannot help with the crashes other than saying have you got the latest packages/dependancies installed?

Your best chance would be to open wxMusik from a console and then make it crash. That way you'll be able to see any error messages it spits out, if you don't know what they mean post here and we'll take a crack

No error messages thrown, just generates a 'debug report' with my current configs etc. I figured out it's related to the filters though, for anyone else having the same problem, you must have *some* filter in the autodj config. I had deleted the default as it didn't apply to my collection, however it only works with it present.
Make sure it reads:
rating >= 0 and genre != 'Speech' and genre != 'Comedy'
