Hello,
I tried to install my warcraft 3 copy under wine. I followed the directions in Frank's Corner And the game installed flawlesly.
The only problem is when I try to start a campaign. When I go to the campaign screen and I select difficulty, no scenario is availiable ! it looks like this : http://shabi.homelinux.org/images/war3.JPG
There's not even a start button or anything.
Custom games I can play.
I tried most of the patches between 1.00 and 1.20
Anyone has any idea?

it seemed to run fine for me using the newest cedega (the commercial version - though it should run then with the cvs version too)

Well, I did some more digging and someone pointed me to the appdb...
There seems to be two problems :
a) it needs some dlls from windows (solved)
b) It has problems with new kernels and most of all, wine compiled with gcc 4. Which as far as I know is what Arch has now...
Oh well, guess I'll dig out my starcraft disk :-)
