Request: MDM (mint display manager) as standalone DM

Hello:

I'd like to request the package MDM (mint display manager) without the mint or mate dependencies.
I'll be a nice alternative to gdm{2,3}, slim, lightdm, lxdm, etc....

You're not confusing MDM (Mate Display Manager) with mint display manager?

Re: Request: MDM (mint display manager) as standalone DM

I personally haven't got it working yet, mainly because I'm happy with LightDM. I had a look at the Linux Mint version of MDM and (annoyingly) they have named it the same but it is different, so unfortunately I have no idea what dependencies there are. Mate-display-manager doesn't seem to be currently getting worked on, so you'll probably have to choose one of the ones you listed.

I personally recommend LightDM, it works great with Mate at least.
