How come that the KDE packages in the official Arch repos are compiled without debug symbols? Why aren't these available as a separate package like in other distros? I have submitted a bug report for Amarok on bugs.kde.org but the backtrace I've given along is useless because the debug symbols are missing. So in order to get backtrace with any meaning is to recompile amarok and all of its dependencies with debug turned on. That turns all of a sudden into a lot packages needed to rebuild just to get a backtrace. Has this been discussed at any point?
