[SOLVED] Games freeze when switching resolution with catalyst

Hi there,

I've just recently installed the ATI catalyst driver on my PC. The games I usually play are 0 A.D and Amnesia the Dark Descent. These games on Ubuntu worked fine, but on Arch they freeze when I initiate them, forcing me to kill them on another TTY. I play them on 1440x900 and my desktop is 1920x1080. It's weird, 0 A.D at the desktop resolution can be played normally.

What could I do to solve this? What information do you need?

Greetings!

Ok I found the issue. I'm using KDE and when I deactivated the fancy effects of the window manager, everything turned to work fine. I will experiment more with the rendering to check for more details.

Replacing XRender from Kwin to OpenGL solved the problem!
