Hey guys, this is my first post here, although I've been using Arch for quite a while now. Nice to meet you.
Anyways, I have this issue with urxvt, I cannot get terminus to work at all. I have both the "terminus" package, and the "rxvt-unicode" package installed. I have tried many different ways of defining my terminus font in .Xresources, and i have looked at others configs that supposedly worked and tried those lines, but it still doesn't work. My current .Xresources has this line in it:
URxvt.font: -*-terminus-medium-*-*-*-*-140-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
and it gives this error:
urxvt: unable to load base fontset, please specify a valid one using -fn, aborting.
I have been trying for a long time to fix this, and still cannot get it to work,

Add these two lines to your startup script:
xset +fp /usr/share/fonts/local
xset fp rehash
