[SOLVED] unknown filesystem type 'vfat'

Hi,

I am quite a newbie with Arch Linux. After solving the most difficult problems, I came to the somewhat tricky ones. With one, I have no clue. Can you help?

I want to mount an USB stick. But all I get is:

mount: unknown filesystem type 'vfat'

Module vfat is loaded, I am root, I have installed dosfstools. No mount.vfat or alike in view. Is it required anyway? Where do I get it? How else should I mount such an FS?

Reboot and try again.

Edit: If it doesn't help, please post the exact command you're using to mount.

Eeek. There has been a kernel update and I haven't noticed. Somehow saddening.

Thank you anyway wink
