unable to install arch to ocz revodrive

Hi!

I have a desktop with ocz revodrive, which is a fakeraid ssd with a sata sil controller. It was managed by dmraid perfectly, but since dmraid is depreciated (and grub can't handle dmraid properly nowadays), I'm unable to install arch to the revodrive, because mdadm won't detect as a raid device. I've tried with 2012.09.07 and 2012.10.06 isos, could anybody help me how to install arch to the ocz revodrive?

If your only option is dmraid, the your only option is dmraid. I'm not sure what you expect to get out of this thread.

My point is that currently grub doesn't work with dmraid, so I'm unable to install arch, because grub-probe won't detect dmraid devices. (off: My ubuntu upgrade to 12.10 has failed on this machine because of grub changes, currently the machine is unbootable). So generally dmraid is depreciated in other distributions too, and I can't find any solution to install linux to this machine.

If your issue is only with grub, try syslinux.
