gnome-shell/nautilus automount stopped working

hi, it is a couple of days now that the automount service from nautilus stopped working. While previously when i was plugging in a flash disk, or an external hard disk a notification window was appearing asking what to do, (i.e. open with files, or eject) this functionality stopped working. I was searching around in order to find something weird but i couldn't. i have checked the properties of nautilus for automount under the d-conf (i.e. org.gnome.desktop.media-handling) and both automount and automount-open are checked and set to true. Does someone have any idea what happened, and i am not getting the pop up notification anymore. To mention that the external device is appearing in the side pane of nautilus and can be mounted manually, but not automatically.

Thanks in advance.

The same problem here.. d-conf shows up that nautilus is handling automount but nothing happened.. it's since I'm on gnome shell 3.6.1
