/etc/rc.d/xdm missing

It appears that in the latest xorg package /etc/rc.d/xdm is missing.

When this is not there, it is not possible to start xdm from the deamon list.
I made the script for someone, put it there, and it worked again.

Is this a bug in the package, or did I miss  a change in policy somewhere?
If it's a bug I'll file a bug report.

There never was a /etc/rc.d/xdm, for as long as I can remember.

That what I though but the wiki references a /etc/rc.d/xdm so I'm not sure now.  I use inittab to start xdm.  If there was never a /etc/rc.d/xdm, you still could file a feature request on the bugtracker.

It's not that I use a graphical login manager. It was just a question someone asked on the forum, and like you said, the wiki references a /etc/rc.d/xdm, so I created one for him.
I once used the deamons array in /etc/rc.conf to start kdm though, before abandoning graphical login managers.  So in principal I think one method should be used for all loign managers.
Anyway, I'll file a 'feature request' or 'change in wiki' on the bugtracker.
