We work hard to provide a new installation cd. This cd allow you to install Arch Linux in french or renglish. You can also choose the keymap at startup or when you launch setup script.
With this version all strings are also in separate file to allow us to add any language you want.
To download the cd :
ftp://archlinuxfr.org/isos/arch-0.7-base-i18n.iso
MD5 :
ftp://archlinuxfr.org/isos/arch-0.7-base-i18n.iso.md5
Source code is here :

Idea:
Wouldn't it be nice if you could work out something with the user who created the scripts for building custom install ISOs? Just imagine: custom install ISOs & custom languages...
Hmm...why not Archie also?
Good luck.

Nice idee But when we began this project, the idee was to provide official iso in french without change other thing on it to have a stable iso. A multilingual live cd is also another project. But you're right maybe we could join our efforts ?

Well, the custom install ISO script is custom only because you can add/remove any packages to/from the ISO. Technically, the interface remains the same - at least that's what I believe.
On the other side, for Archie, a multilingual Live CD is indeed another project.

as a side note, Archie is multilingual.

I've send a mail to "geekitus" some time ago... from the Polish support site (link)... I can make the Polish langs if I get some instructions

I could not answer because these two last week we tested various solutions (like gettext) for the multi-languages support before choosing the most easy to use.
(I did not want to give you to make a translation to have all to start again two weeks afterwards)
The choice was only decide in the middle of last week. So i re-build a new cutting of all the sentences wich need to be translated . (and now a wiki and also a svn can help translators to maintain up to date theirs translations)
now you can find all files here :

Polish lang files:
http://www.hubi.info/rik/polish.txt
http://www.hubi.info/rik/pl.conf.txt
(Files are in UTF-8) As for
export LANG=pl_PL
export LC_ALL=$LANG
I've noticed that when I have LC_ALL set then programs go english. If only LANG is set they use the polish langs
