KDE 4 Keyboard shortcuts question.

Hi guys! Today I decided to try KDE4 on my laptop, but I can't seem to configure keyboard shortcuts. I looked in the wiki, but I don't see any keyboard shortcuts section. I would greately appreciate it if you could give me a hand.
Cheers!

Re: KDE 4 Keyboard shortcuts question.

And the "shortcuts and gestures" icon with pictures of keyboard keys?

Re: KDE 4 Keyboard shortcuts question.

The problem is that when i try to assign a Fn+ some key it doesn't take into account my keypress

I am on a laptop so it's pretty annoying that I can't adjust my screen brightness from my keyboard, or control the WiFi adaptor, or disable the touchpad.

Re: KDE 4 Keyboard shortcuts question.

it may be that the 'fn' key is not recognized. Try to follow this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ex … board_Keys

I think its more about Qt4 being picky about accepting keys. I mean it wasn't until recently that back and forward buttons got implemented into KDE/Dolphin. If I'm not wrong, Qt5 should address that.

I would use one of the apps in the arch wiki for keyboard shortcuts for the fn stuff. (Unless xev doesn't detect it either)
