zsh/fc: bad option: -s

The man page for zshell's 'fc' builtin tells me I can use the -s option to skip the editor.  But any time I try to do that, I get the message

$ fc -s -2
zsh: bad option: -s

I've got the zsh package version 5.0.0-2 installed from the repositories.  Any idea what's going on?

Thanks.

Re: zsh/fc: bad option: -s

I see no -s option anywhere for 'fc' in zshbuiltins(1).

'man fc' gets you the POSIX Programmer's Manual definition of fc.

       This manual page is part of the POSIX Programmer's Manual. The Linux implementation of
       this interface may differ (consult the corresponding Linux manual page for details of
       Linux behavior), or the interface may not be implemented on Linux.
