ah. any reason for not using e17? I mean, I havn't tried it, have you, and is it usable?
I like E17 but its a little unstable for me atm , i used enlightenment way back in the day when i was running slackware.
I use e 16 over anything else because it is easier to work with has its own composite and effects already built in and is extremely light weight. Better then openbox IMO.
much easier to edit the config files aswell.
I run conky for time and date and Tint2 in vertical mode on the left.

I havn't tried any of the arch packages for e16 or 17. Guess i'll have to, for the moment I have that razor qt thing I posted and openbox. Also favored it cause its so easy to use and setup. I'll give enlightenment another shot though

Are you running one X server per monitor? If so could you share how you achieved this?
Thanks

It's one monitor. He just pasted two screenshots together to make one image.

updated just needed to get back to a minimal system. its pretty easy for me, I know all the keybindings to the point where I use the mouse almost as little as when I use DWM. below is just a simple tile progam for the odd time I want to tile, most of the time at most three windows, so only having one layout isn't a problem. I considered trying to write/find a script to do multiple layouts, or a larger more complex program, but I really don't need that as the times I do tile this is all I'm looking for.
