device mapper unavailable after systemd integration & package updates

I have updated my system to use systemd exclusivley.
Also a ton of new packages have been installed during the last few days.
Now when I run truecrypt I get the following error message:

/dev/mapper/control: open failed: No such device
Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver.
Check that device-mapper is available in the kernel.
Command failed

I am running 3.5.4-1-ARCH kernel.

How can I integrate the device-mapper (module?) again?

Re: device mapper unavailable after systemd integration & package updates

This problem has nothing to do with systemd. It seems you updated your system, including the kernel, but didn't reboot after that.

Indeed - rebooting fixed the issue, thanks.
