Fasterfox 0.7.5 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Deer Park 1.6a1 ..... yes quite nice wink

so why do u need pacman? just use "configure; make; make install; make uninstall"
the reason u dont, is because u want to be able to revert back, to have nice option, and to be organized. i used to do the tweaks manually, but fasterfox delivers ease-of-use with a nice GUI, easy to configure, without tons of irrelevant options (as u have with about:config). dont like it? dont use it. wink

The point is that fasterfox does not work for firefox 1.6a wink
