Hey
I have a problem with my thinkpad x230, that coming up since a few days. Whenever I resume from suspend to ram, the internal speakers don't work anymore. When I plug something into the headphone jack, sound works fine. It's just the internal speaker that doesn't work. They work again if I reboot.
A friend of mine has the same problem since last Sunday. (he suspects that a kernel update is fault).
Does anybody have an Idea what I could do to try to fix the problem?
greetings,
viirus

It really is not awesome when these kinds of questions appear in these forums. "Function so-and-so does not work. How do I fix it?" There has been a lot of this lately...

I own a Vaio Z and had the same problem since the 3.6.x kernel update, the snd-hda-intel module seems to be faulty.
I've tried a recent kernel 3.7-rc1 and it worked again. Let me know if this worked for you too.
